- There are express coach services from Athens (coach station is called the “KTEL Peloponnisou” in Kifissos area) with departures approximately every 30 minutes. Passengers should take bus No. 53, outside the Airport’s main door, to the end of the bus line where there is the Bus Central Station. From this place, buses run to Patras (regular ticket about 20 €) and the journey lasts approximately 3h (2 ½ h for express busses).
- From the Main Rail Station of Athens, there are regular trains to Patras every couple of hours. Main Rail Station of Athens is connected directly with Athens Airport through local train lines.
- Coming from Athens to Patras (about 230 km) follow the “Attica Road” from the Airport to Elefsina and continue on the New National Motorway (tollroad) following the instructions across the road. Leave the motorway immediately to your right after passing the Patras tollgates. You will see signs to Agios Vassilios, Rion and Nosokomio. After about 300 m, where the road divides, bear left under the motorway bridge and, after 500 m, the University Hospital is visible on the left. The University campus begins there.
