The number of participants is strictly limited to ensure an efficient interaction between students and lecturers. We will accept a maximum of 130 Ph.D. students or post-docs and institute and academic research fellows. Participants will be primarily selected on the basis of submitted abstracts and CVs.
The registration fees is 420€ for students and post-docs. The registration fees include shuttle transportation from Athens Airport, the attendance at the course, book of abstracts, lunches, accommodation (5 nights, 11th to 16th of July 2009 in shared double rooms), welcome reception, dinners and farewell party. No payments can be made before notification of acceptance has been received from the organizers. A total of 30 FEBS Youth Travel Fellowships are available to help young scientists attending the meeting. All applications for YTF grants must be sent to the organizers by February 20th, 2009. For further details see Fellowships.
All abstracts with graduate students or postdoctoral fellows as first authors are subject to scientific evaluation by selected members. The best 5 abstracts shall receive the "FEBS-MPST2009 Young Investigator Award" at the end of the course. For further details see Fellowships.
